This theme is open to interpretation and all submissions are welcome. All art media are eligible: painting, drawing, photography, sculpture, mixed media, digital video, new genres, etc.

Exploring the vibrancy of primary colors and the foundational experiences that shape us…

Our objective is to engage youth audiences throughout Northern Arizona and support a wide range of art disciplines. This exhibition is non-juried and all submissions were accepted.

Monotype & Collagraph Printmaking

Instructor: Erika Tsouras

Date/Time: Saturday, March 8, 11:30 – 12:30 pm or 1 – 2 pm; Ages 7-14

In celebration of CCA’s annual Youth Arts Show, come get a little messy and try out two different kinds of printmaking! Monotype involves adding and removing ink from a flat surface and pressing paper on it to create a single unique print. In collagraph printing, we build up the printing surface with raised shapes and then roll ink on it like a stamp to make multiple prints! Both are easy and so satisfying! The images you create with these methods are entirely up to you, the artist.

All Youth Arts workshops and programming are FREE and open to the public. Registration required.
