It’s Elemental is an annual exhibition at the Coconino Center for the Arts, serving as a perfect lead up to the holiday season. It has its roots from the earliest days at the Center, from the mid-1980′s to the mid-1990′s. Back then, the exhibition was titled, “Wood, Fiber, Clay.” The Center closed in the late 1990′s, but when it reopened in 2001, the exhibition returned with its current name and concept.
The exhibition is accompanied by the Fine Craft Sale on Dec. 6, 2014, from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. and Dec. 7 from 12 – 4 p.m. The Fine Craft Sale is a juried holiday marketplace featuring local craftspeople. Now in its seventh year, the Sale is a popular fixture in Flagstaff’s holiday season.
