SUMMARY:Earth
DESCRIPTION:Buy Tickets\n\nOver the course of their thirty trips around the sun\, Earth has remained diligent in their commitment to monolithic minimalism. The sonic vocabulary may have changed—from their early years churning out seismic drone metal on albums like Earth 2 (1993) to the dusty Morricone-tinged comeback album Hex; Or Printing in the Infernal Method (2005) to the meditative rock approach of Primitive and Deadly (2014)—but the underlying principle of austerity and restraint remains a constant. With their latest album Full Upon Her Burning Lips\, Earth purges the layers of auxiliary instrumentation that embellished some of their previous records and deconstructed their dynamic to the core duo of Dylan Carlson on guitar and bass and Adrienne Davies on drums and percussion. In the process\, they tapped into the Platonic ideal of Earth—an incarnation of the long running band bolstered by the authority of purpose\, where every note and every strike on the drum kit carries the weight of the world. \nFull Upon Her Burning Lips opens with “Datura’s Crimson Veils”\, a twelve-minute opus that adheres to Earth’s 21st century approach with Carlson’s sepia-toned Bakersfield Sound guitars lurching across a barren landscape while Davies punctuates the melodies with death knell drums. It’s a sound that harkens back to the riff-constructed vistas of their Angels of Darkness\, Demons of Light albums\, but stripped of their ornateness. “It was definitely a very organically developed record\,” Carlson says of the process. “I limited the number of effects I used. I always like the limiting of materials to force oneself to employ them more creatively. Previous Earth records were quite lush sounding\, and I wanted a more upfront and drier sound\, using very few studio effects.” In less capable hands\, these kinds of limitations might diminish the aural scope of the compositions\, but Carlson and Davies have always thrived on reductive methods. \nThe stripped down approach had another advantage. “I really wanted the drums to be present\,” Carlson says. “I felt with previous Earth records that other instrumentation took up so much of the sonic space that the drums were kind of pushed to the side.” This tactic helps highlight Davies’ ability to elevate the drum kit beyond its mere metronomic functions and allows it to serve as an expressive\, nuanced\, and tonally rich component to Earth’s arsenal of sound. \nIn addition to scaling back on their ranks\, Earth altered their previous trajectory by entering into Full Upon Her Burning Lips without a conceptual arc to guide the process\, relying instead on their collective subconscious to hone in on the overarching muse as the songs developed. “In the past I’ve usually had a strong framework for an album\,” Carlson says. “This one developed over the course of writing and recording. It just felt like ‘Earth’—like just the two players doing their best work at playing\, serving the music.” The absence of a pre-existing narrative guiding the compositions meant that the songs were more open and intuitive\, often resulting in more terse musical vignettes like the richly harmonic “Exaltation of Larks” or the dreamily itinerant “Maidens Catafalque”. Yet subconscious impulses gradually created their own subtext for the album. “I wanted this to be a ‘sexy’ record\, a record acknowledging the ‘witchy’ and ‘sensual’ aspects in the music… sort of a ‘witch’s garden’ kind of theme\, with references to mind altering plants and animals that people have always held superstitious beliefs towards. A conjuror or root doctor’s herbarium of songs\, as it were.” \nThe ten tracks on Full Upon Her Burning Lips came together in bits and pieces. Songs like “Cats on the Briar” and “Mandrake’s Hymn” stemmed from a handful of musical phrases and repeating patterns concocted in moments of downtime during their 2017 tour schedule. “Descending Belladonna” came from a live soundtrack project. Other songs came from rehearsals in the months leading up to recording or in moments of divine inspiration in the studio. The record was engineered\, mixed\, and mastered by longtime associate Mell Dettmer at Studio Soli. Knowing their process and their sound\, Dettmer helped harness\, shape\, and document the songs in a manner that highlights the depth of Earth’s sparse components\, capturing hidden dimensions much like the veiled images residing in the Magic Eye prints from the ‘90s. For the patient listener\, the cyclical nature of the songs “She Rides an Air of Malevolence” or “An Unnatural Carousel” reveal new forms with repeated listens\, with the subtle variations between passes creating a kaleidoscope of auditory activity. \n“I feel like this is the fullest expression and purest distillation of what Earth does since I re-started the band\,” Carlson says in reflection of Full Upon Her Burning Lips. And indeed\, anyone that’s followed Earth on their journey will bask in the unadulterated hums\, throbs\, and reverberations conjured by Carlson and Davies. Sargent House is proud to offer up the album to the world on May 24th\, 2019 on 2xLP / CD / digital formats. \nSave 10% with membership! Use unique member number at checkout. SUMMARY:Etran de L'Aïr with special guests maya ongaku
DESCRIPTION:Buy Tickets\n\nPlaying for over 25 years\, Etran de L’Aïr has emerged as stars of the local wedding circuit. Beloved for their dynamic repertoire of hypnotic solos and sun schlazed melodies\, Etran stakes out a place for Agadez guitar music. Playing a sound that invokes the desert metropolis\, “Agadez” celebrates the sounds of all the dynamism of a hometown wedding. \nEtran is a family band composed of brothers and cousins\, all born and raised in the small neighborhood of Abalane\, just in the shadow of the grand mosque. Sons of nomadic families that settled here in the 1970s fleeing the droughts\, they all grew up in Agadez. The band was formed in 1995 when current band leader Moussa “Abindi” Ibra was only 9 years old. “We only had one acoustic guitar\,” he explains\, “and for percussion\, we hit a calabash with a sandal.” Over the decades\, the band painstakingly pieced together gear to form their band and built an audience by playing everywhere\, for everyone. “It was difficult. We would walk to gigs by foot\, lugging all our equipment\, carrying a small PA and guitars on our backs\, 25 kilometers into the bush\, to play for free…there’s nowhere in Agadez we haven’t played.” \nFrom the days of the Trans-Saharan caravan in the 14th century to a modern-day stopover for Europe-bound migrants\, Agadez is a city that stands at the crossroads\, where people and ideas come together. Understandably\, it’s here where one of the most ambitious Tuareg guitar has taken hold. Agadez’s style is the fastest\, with frenetic electric guitar solos\, staccato crash of full drum kits\, and flamboyant dancing guitarists. Agadez is the place where artists come to cut their teeth in a lucrative and competitive winner-take-all scene. Guitar bands are an integral part of the social fabric\, playing in weddings\, baptisms\, and political rallies\, as well as the occasional concert. \nWhereas other Tuareg guitarists look to Western rock\, Etran de L’Aïr play in a pan-African style that is emblematic of their hometown\, citing a myriad of cultural influences\, from Northern Malian blues\, Hausa bar bands\, to Congolese Soukous. It’s perhaps this quality that makes them so beloved in Agadez. “We play for the Tuareg\, the Toubou\, the Zarma\, the Hausa\,” Abindi explains. “When you invite us\, we come and play.” Their music is rooted in celebration\, and invokes the exuberance of an Agadez wedding\, with an overwhelming abundance of guitars\, as simultaneous solos playfully pass over one another with a restrained precision\, forceful yet never overindulgent. \nRecorded at home in Agadez with a mobile studio\, their eponymous album stays close to the band’s roots. Over a handful of takes\, in a rapid-fire recording session\, “Agadez” retains all the energy of a party. Their message too is always close to home. Tchingolene (“Tradition”) recalls the nomad camps\, with a modern take on traditional takamba rhythms transposed to guitars. The dreamy ballad Toubouk Ine Chihoussay (“The Flower of Beauty”) dives into call and response lyrics\, and solos that dance effortlessly over the frets. On other tracks like Imouwizla (“Migrants”)\, Etran addresses immigration with the driving march parallels the nomads’ plight with travelers crossing the desert for Europe. Yet even at its most serious\, Etran’s music is engaged and dynamic\, reminding us that music can transmit a message while lighting up a celebration. This is music for dancing\, after all. \n\n  \nHailing from the seaside communities surrounding Enoshima\, a small island located 50 km southwest of Tokyo\, maya ongaku is a ragtag collective of local musicians whose brand of earthy psychedelia transcends widely beyond the roots of their inner souls. The name derives not from any kind of ancient civilization\, but rather a neologism defined as the imagined view outside one’s field of vision. The band—currently a trio of Tsutomu Sonoda\, Ryota Takano\, and Shoei Ikeda—finds sanctuary at the Ace General Store\, a beachy vintage shop and salon-like space just hidden from sight from the bustling\, touristy riverside Subana Street. Between discussions on music and art\, curating the vinyl section and manning the register\, and chatting up with locals young and old\, the members find time to jam and record their spontaneous ideas in the studio tucked away in the back. It’s in this unlikely setting where maya ongaku finds its origins\, the culmination of what Sonoda describes as 自然発生 (shizen hassei)\, meaning spontaneous generation\, or the supposed production of living organisms from nonliving matter. \nSave 10% with membership! Use unique member number at checkout. SUMMARY:Interference Series presents Catherine Sikora & Eric Mingus (NYC)
DESCRIPTION:Buy Tickets\n\nCatherine Sikora and Eric Mingus create music that lives in the bones and breath—where improvisation becomes language\, and sound becomes a vessel for history\, place\, and presence. \nCatherine Sikora is a tenor and soprano saxophonist\, composer\, and improviser whose playing carries the deep imprint of natural landscapes and sonic exploration. From the moment she first heard the wind singing through a metal gate as a child\, she has been captivated by the magic of resonant air. Her devotion to the saxophone is both spiritual and fiercely disciplined\, informed by years of study\, practice\, and international performance. With sixteen albums as leader or co-leader\, Sikora’s work spans collaborations with artists such as Susan Alcorn\, Brian Chase\, and Ursel Schlicht. She is a member of the soprano saxophone quartet Chaos Theory (led by Sam Newsome) and the improvising trio Eris 136199. Her music has been featured on BBC’s Freeness\, Free Jazz Blog\, and festivals including Jazz em Agosto (Lisbon)\, Vision Festival (NYC)\, Documenta 15 (Germany)\, and the Adelaide Festival of the Arts. \nEric Mingus is a vocalist\, composer\, poet\, and multi-instrumentalist whose career defies categorization. With a voice that can move from thunder to lullaby\, and a creative lineage rooted in the legacy of Black American music\, Mingus works at the intersection of jazz\, blues\, punk\, poetry\, and performance art. He has collaborated with artists including Howard Johnson\, Elliott Sharp\, Hubert Sumlin and Levon Helm\, while developing his own multidisciplinary works such as The Mill—an ongoing project that explores ancestral memory\, survival\, and storytelling in the Great Smoky Mountains. He leads the Sacred Routes Vocal Ensemble\, using words and melody to trace the roots of our human connection. In addition to private coaching of musicians\, Eric teaches at The New School\, is a judge and educator at the annual Charles Mingus High School competition\, has lectured at Berklee\, Harvard\, UC Irvine\, the Banlieues Blues Jazz festival (Paris\, France) and the In Situ Arts Society (Bonn\, Germany). He taught vocal improvisation classes and a Charles Mingus workshop at London’s Community Music House. \nAs a duo\, Sikora and Mingus build landscapes in real time—improvised dialogues where breath\, voice\, and instrument move together through terrain that is sometimes ecstatic\, sometimes aching\, always alive. Their work reflects their distinct cultural lineages—Ireland and the Black American South—and honors both the intimacy of collaboration and the expansiveness of improvisation. \nSave 10% with membership! Use unique member number at checkout. SUMMARY:Interference Series presents Paul Livingstone & Partho Sarothy
DESCRIPTION:Buy Tickets\n\nLeading sarod player of India\, Partho Sarothy and American sitarist Paul Livingstone are disciples of the legendary Pandit Ravi Shankar and have been performing together for over 20 years giving concerts in India\, Mexico and the United States. Their interactive approach then transitions into the excitement of rhythmic intensity through improvisations typical of the Maihar gharana tradition and the jugalbandi style made famous by their guru and Ustad Ali Akbar Khan. Their international work together demonstrates their sonic unity and compatibility that artists from different cultures can bring forth within the rigorous form of classical raga music. As soloists they have played with most of the leading tabla players of India\, Pakistan and Nepal including Ustad Zakir Hussain\, Pandit Swapan Chaudhuri\, Pandit Hom Nath Upadhyaya\, Ustad Bashir Khan among many others. \nSave 10% with membership! Use unique member number at checkout. SUMMARY:Gareth Pearson
DESCRIPTION:Buy Tickets\n\nGareth Pearson is referred to as “The Welsh Tornado” which is particularly appropriate\, seeing as this special talent combines fingerstyle pyrotechnics\, with explosive lead runs making Pearson one of the most exciting acoustic musicians gigging today. \nGareth has a distinctive style that can be heard through his creative and innovative arrangements which cover a wide spectrum of genres\, including country/folk/classical/pop/rock/jazz/swing and bluegrass music\, along with his own beautiful and often intricate original compositions. Drawing his playing style initially from influences such as Chet Atkins\, Merle Travis\, Jerry Reed and Tommy Emmanuel\, he has developed a style that is both inspiring and entertaining. \nWithin a year of taking up the guitar\, Gareth was opening for Tommy Emmanuel on his 2005 UK tour. It was in Cardiff where Tommy invited Gareth to play at the CAAS convention (Chet Atkins Appreciation Society) in Nashville Tennessee. Later that year\, Gareth was performing and touring alongside Ray Davies (The Kinks)\, John Renbourne\, and Southside Johnny and the Ashbury Jukes. During the Southside Johnny tour\, Gareth was invited by Southside to be flown over to the USA to open for his annual New Years Eve concert at the Count Basie Theatre in New Jersey. The following year Gareth was invited by Tommy Emmanuel to be the support act for his UK tour\, following extensive UK supports to Jan Akkerman\, Andy McKee and appearing at numerous Folk Festivals and Guitar workshops including the Montreal Jazz Festival. \nWith appearances throughout Europe and a growing reputation\, Gareth was invited to perform at the 2008 Canadian Guitar Festival where he came to the attention of Candyrat Records. This lay the seed for Gareth to be the first UK guitarist to be signed by the label. On its release\, Gareth’s debut album “Urban Echoes Vol 1” was selected by Acoustic Guitar editors and frequent contributors as one of the “Essential Acoustic Albums of 2010”. With Appearances at the 2009 Montreal Guitar Festival\, USA and Worldwide tours and Guitar workshops\, Gareth’s reputation as a performer and teacher is constantly growing. \n  \n“Gareth is fast becoming one of the worlds most renowned instrumental guitarists” \nAdam Walton (BBC Radio Wales) \n“I really respect Gareth’s abilities. DESCRIPTION:Buy Tickets\n\nEach generation\, perhaps once a decade\, bluegrass experiences a band or an artist that redefines and recenters the genre itself. Della Mae is one such band. \nThe GRAMMY-nominated string band was founded in 2010 and over the next decade and a half they’ve demonstrated to the roots music world\, once and for all\, that a band of all women is not\, nor has ever been\, a mere novelty. They remain at the forefront of the explosion of women instrumentalists and all-women acts in roots music and their impact is striking and measurable – not just in North America\, but around the globe. \nNow 15 years since their origin\, Della Mae can boast their strongest lineup yet. Founders Kimber Ludiker and Celia Woodsmith are joined by guitarist and songwriter Avril Smith and vocalist and two-time IBMA Bass Player of the Year Vickie Vaughn. \nThere has never been a band like Della Mae in roots music before\, but thanks to Kimber Ludiker\, Celia Woodsmith\, Avril Smith\, Vickie Vaughn – and all of the women who have been part of this band over its long life – we know there will be many more bands\, singers\, songwriters\, and pickers just like Della Mae in the future. \nSave 10% with membership! DESCRIPTION:Buy Tickets\n\nMinneapolis songwriter Mason Jennings shares his new video for the single\, “Only Lovers Welcome” from his brand new album\, Underneath The Roses out now via Loosegroove Records. Underneath The Roses is available on limited-edition colored vinyl and is available here.  Watch and share the video for “Only Lovers Welcome” here. \nJennings writes that the songs from Underneath The Roses were\, “Written in an unprecedented burst\,” following the birth of his son\, Western\, in March 2022. Jennings explains\, “I hadn’t written any songs in about a year. I had been dealing with the psychological after effects of the pandemic as well as the loss of my dad. So\, when Western was born I didn’t expect to be writing much. But immediately he was responding to music in a very intense way. For this album\, between May and November 2022\, I wrote 48 songs! They certainly uplifted me and connected me with the creative spirit\, and spirit in general\, again. They cover all kinds of ground but\, when I listen back\, I think the central theme is overcoming fear with love.” \nJennings also released a video for\, “No Ordinary Friend\,” which he explains\, “Depicts two of the most important decisions a person can make. One\, whether or not they believe in a loving higher power and two\, who they decide to choose as a life long romantic partner. This song is referring to both of those and the choices I’ve made.” \n“Stone Gossard and Regan Hagar from Loosegroove Records helped me edit the 48 down to 11. I then enlisted the help of my Painted Shield bandmates to record the songs.” \nJennings and Gossard are ongoing collaborators in the band Painted Shield\, who released their 2021 debut album on Loosegroove\, the influential indie label that Gossard founded back in 1994 issued records from acts such as Critters Buggin\, Malfunkshun\, Weapon of Choice and Devilhead\, and was the launching point for Queens of the Stone Age’s debut album in 1998. \nJenning’s previous album ‘Real Heart’ came out in January 2022 and received Triple/Non-comm radio across KCMP Minneapolis\, WFPK Louisville\, WPYA Birmingham\, KRCL Salt Lake City\, WMMM Madison\, WQKL Ann Arbor\, KCSN LA\, KRVB Boise\, WCLZ Portland\, WDSE Duluth\, WRLT Nashville\, WXPN Philly\, WXRV Boston\, & WZEW Mobile. \nPress highlights include: American Songwriter\, Relix\, No Depression\, Grateful Web\, Take Effect 9/10 review\, & Jam Bands \nJennings adds “I called it Underneath The Roses because I feel like these songs are musical roses and when I look below them there are many thorns and so much dirt and soil. All of it was needed for them to come into existence and bloom. It’s been a long hard road of self-discovery and discernment for me the last few years and the roses wouldn’t be here without what lies underneath. Hope you enjoy the music!” \nSave 10% with membership! Use unique member number at checkout. Household members receive two tickets at a discount and individual members receive one. DESCRIPTION:Buy Tickets\n\nItalian pianist Simona Premazzi and Boston native saxophonist Kyle Nasser met in New York and found themselves on gigs together over the last decade. Formalizing their musical partnership as a collaborative entity in 2021\, they teamed with bassist Noah Garabedian and drummer Jay Sawyer to explore their own take on highly melodic modernist jazz blended with harmonies and techniques from classical music. From the major jazz venues in New York\, to festivals around the US and South America\, the Premazzi / Nasser Quartet further defined their sound\, built on lustrous melodies\, vivid compositions and a dynamic group aesthetic. \n“A fearless modernist composer and improviser with a deep lyricism at her core\, pianist Simona Premazzi is one of the most fascinating and creative pianists in New York today.” Hot House Magazine \n“Cycling rhythms and recurrent melodic themes propel the saxophonist’s music through an ever-evolving terrain of advanced harmony and raw emotion…cerebral without being pretentious\, gnarly but far from vulgar.” DownBeat \nSave 10% with membership! SUMMARY:S.E. Willis Presents an Evening of Flagstaff Blues
DESCRIPTION:Buy Tickets\n\nSaturday November 15 will be an evening of Flagstaff Blues featuring S.E.Willis\, Tommy Dukes\, Bob Blasi\, Roger Smith\, Dale Caddell\, Chuck Curry and Greg Varlotta. \nI started playing music in bands while attending Coconino High in Flagstaff. I was playing rock’n’roll music as it existed in 1969\, for fraternity parties\, high school dances and teen dances at Oddfellows Underground on Arrowhead. At that time\, aside from other teen bands and country groups\, the other side of town was represented by Winslow’s Tommy Dukes. Tommy was a grown\, if young man at that time and he was the star of South Side\, an area we didn’t venture into much. Back then Tommy wasn’t playing a lot of hard core blues (though he did play some killer Jimmy Reed)\, mostly soul and R&B. But Tommy came to Winslow from Hattiesburg Mississippi and had the look and the sound and as time went by he was more influenced by B.B. and Albert King\, among others. And Tommy Dukes is still here and still playing great blues music. \nMeanwhile\, I was searching out the few Blues records that arrived here. Muddy Waters\, Howlin’ Wolf\, Albert King\, and\, most of all for me\, Robert Johnson. My piano models were Memphis Slim\, Otis Spann and Johnny Johnson. \nLocal musicians through the 70s\, 80s and on mostly played in bars (and still do). Concerts were for touring\, more respectable acts. \nIn 1984 I started Monday Night Blues at Charly’s in the Weatherford Hotel with my brother John on bass\, Charlie Mossman (RIP) on drums and Dave Duncan on guitar. And I tracked Tommy down—I didn’t see how we could claim to be playing Blues without him. \nIt was very popular and is still happening now\, though on Wednesday night. \nWe all moved on. I went to San Francisco where I got to perform with a lot of great blues musicians\, most not widely known\, but also Elvin Bishop\, Charly Musselwhite\, Bo Diddly\, Chuck Berry\, Albert King\, Pinetop Perkins\, James Cotton and many others. \nNow I’m back in Flagstaff and Tommy is still here playing excellent blues. We’re older\, and I don’t know how many more opportunities we’ll have\, but Saturday November 15 we’re bringing the old school Flagstaff Blues to Coconino Center for the Arts. I’ve put together a band that includes four members of the Arizona Blues Hall of Fame: myself\, Tommy\, Bob Blasi (drums and vocals) and Roger Smith (bass). We also have Flagstaff’s own Dale Caddell on guitar. I met Dale at Coconino High and have played with him off and on ever since\, notably in a popular local 80s band\, the Shake. Dale recorded with Tommy as Tommy Duke and the Blue Bloods (also featuring Bob Blasi)\, so he seemed like the best choice for this show. Tommy’s blues has frequently featured horns\, and local hero Chuck Curry (trumpet) agreed to be a part of this\, along with Greg Varlotta on trombone. \nI wanted the people of Flagstaff to have a chance to support their local bluesmen\, and to present Tommy’s music (and mine and Bob’s\, with Roger\, Dale\, Chuck and Greg) in a concert setting. I hope everyone will come and support real homegrown Blues Music! \n– S.E. Willis \nSave 10% with membership! Use unique member number at checkout. SUMMARY:Greenhouse Productions Presents: Kalos
DESCRIPTION:Buy Tickets\n\nKalos is drawn to water. Every performance is like stepping into a river—they never play a song the same way twice. They make music inspired by the maritime traditions of Scotland\, Ireland\, Scandinavia and North America. Their album titles—Harbour and Headland—honor the meeting point between the land and sea and they sing songs about shorelines\, seafarers and drownings. They revel in the driving danceability of Irish tunes\, but also take inspiration from the pastoral melodies and naturalistic metaphors of Scottish music. But while the music they write is forged in tradition\, it is nonetheless cast and tempered in new and unexpected ways. The trio spans three generations\, three cities and two countries. Ryan McKasson (violin\, viola\, voice)\, Eric McDonald (guitar\, mandolin\, voice) and Jeremiah McLane (accordion\, piano\, voice) met over the years at highland games\, contra dances and fiddle camps across North America. They made their first recording in 2016 and have been touring together since 2019. Kalos prizes the magic of live performance—breathing\, dancing and weaving together like high-wire acrobats. They are as generous as they are virtuosic. Like nature itself\, their music is full of chaos and chance yet always feels spacious and balanced. Their concerts are more an exposé than a performance—they are immersive\, trance-inducing experiences.Kalos appreciates how acoustic music can be a balm\, a respite in the midst of our radio-static modern life. “As noisy as music is\, it feels like meditation compared to the clatter of social media\,” McLane muses. All three band members come from Scottish immigrant families\, so even when they venture beyond the edges of traditional Celtic music they remain deeply connected to past centuries and forgotten folkways. The acoustic instruments they play are made of sonorous wood—mahogany\, spruce\, ebony—and the band is always attuned to the sonic quality of the spaces they play in. They love a reverberant church or a forest green encircled by the far-off hum of cicadas.Kalos is an ancient Greek word that means “beautiful” or “praiseworthy.” It’s the root of the English words “calligraphy” and “calisthenics.” Like a fine calligrapher or adept gymnast\, each musician possesses a profound attention to detail and form. But within the exquisite architecture of their compositions\, they remain inventive—finding new flourishes and discovering unseen ley lines in the fertile ground of traditional music. Folk Worlds magazine says\, “There’s a spontaneity at work as the three musicians alternately contest and duel\, combine and coalesce to bring their talents together.” \nKalos has performed at the Lotus Festival (Bloomington\, IN)\, New Bedford Folk Festival (New Bedford\, MA)\, New World Festival (Randolph\, VT)\, Gracie Center (Bangor\, ME)\, Old Town School of Folk Music (Chicago\, IL)\, Seattle Folklore Society (Seattle\, WA) and more. They have taught workshops and masterclasses at Tufts University (Somerville\, MA)\, Celtic Arts Foundation (Mount Vernon\, WA) and Valley of the Moon Scottish Fiddle School (Boulder Creek\, CA). With music that enlivens the human spirit\, Kalos brings warmth\, grit and exuberance to every performance \nSave 10% with membership! Use unique member number at checkout.
