Their interactive approach then transitions into the excitement of rhythmic intensity through improvisations typical of the Maihar gharana tradition and the jugalbandi style made famous by their guru and Ustad Ali Akbar Khan. Their international work together demonstrates their sonic unity and compatibility that artists from different cultures can bring forth within the rigorous form of classical raga music.
