Creative Camps

Get ready to create and explore with Flagstaff’s premier arts educators at Coconino Center for the Arts!

CCA is thrilled to announce Creative Camps, a new way for your child to immerse themselves in the arts.

2025 Camp Season

Spring Break Camp: March 10th – 14th, 2025

Each day will explore a new discipline: drawing + painting, theater + dance, ceramics + sculpture, and fiber + textiles. These themes are a sampler of what’s to come in our summer sessions.

Summer 2025 Creative Camp dates:

  • June 2-6, 2025 Theme: Drawing + Painting
  • June 9-13, 2025 Theme: Theatre + Dance
  • June 16-20, 2025 Theme: Ceramics + Sculpture
  • June 23-27, 2025 Theme: Fiber + Textiles

Creative Camps are held onsite and outdoors at Coconino Center for the Arts, your community art space.

We believe that every child deserves the opportunity to explore their creativity regardless of financial circumstances. Our scholarship program is designed to provide financial assistance to ensure equitable access to our enriching summer art programs.

Scholarship Criteria

Scholarships are awarded based on a first come, first served basis. Each scholarship recipient is eligible for up to two (2) 80% discounts off the regular list price on up to two (2) summer camp enrollments. A separate application is required for each camp, for each child. The discount is not able to be combined with the member discount.

Interest in Arts: Priority will be given to applicants who show a genuine interest in the arts and a desire to learn and grow creatively. We encourage applicants to share their artistic interests, talents, or past creative experiences in the application.

Program Availability: Limited scholarships are dependent on available spaces in the camp and funding support.

How to Apply for a Scholarship

Submit a letter of 250 words or less, outlining your child’s interest in the arts and how their attendance with the scholarship would impact them. Email letters to: jsokol@creativeflagstaff.org

Letters must be submitted no later than 3 weeks prior to camp start date to be considered.
