Coconino Center for the Arts (CCA) is central to Northern Arizona’s vibrant creative culture, fostering an engaged, equitable, and imaginative community. Managed by Creative Flagstaff, CCA serves the arts, science, and cultural sectors of Flagstaff. CCA’s facilities include a 4000 sq ft Main Gallery, an adjacent 215 sq ft Project Gallery, and an intimate 200-seat Theater. CCA is located on US 180 enroute to the Grand Canyon.

NightVisions: AMBER

NightVisions: AMBER is an international juried art exhibition that seeks to explore and celebrate our deep connections with the night. In its 9th iteration for 2026, this long-standing collaboration between Coconino Center for the Arts and the Flagstaff Dark Skies Coalition celebrates the 25th anniversary of Flagstaff’s designation as the world’s first International Dark Sky City.

CCA Call for Exhibition Proposals

Coconino Center for the Arts (CCA) is central to Northern Arizona’s vibrant creative culture, fostering an engaged, equitable, and imaginative community. Managed by Creative Flagstaff, CCA serves the arts, science, and cultural sectors of Flagstaff. CCA’s facilities include a 4000 sq ft Main Gallery, an adjacent 215 sq ft Project Gallery, and an intimate 200-seat Theater. CCA is located on US 180 enroute to the Grand Canyon.

CCA invites exhibition proposals from artists, curators, and cultural organizations for rolling review by the CCA Exhibitions Selection Committee. The Main Gallery hosts 3-4 major exhibitions annually, with a rotation of 4-6 exhibitions in the Project Gallery. Interdisciplinary proposals that include digital media or installation elements are encouraged.

JOIN CCA’S COCONINO COUNTY-WIDE ARTIST REGISTRY

Coconino Center for the Arts (CCA) invites artists and creatives to share their work in a publicly accessible artist registry open to artists residing in Coconino County. CCA strives to connect and strengthen communities through increased access to and engagement in the arts. The registry is a resource and networking opportunity for Visual Artists, Performing Artists, Literary Artists, and Artisans to share their work and expertise in a free online registry accessible to other artists, venues, and organizations, housed on CCA’s website.

CCA’s mission is to provide space, offer resources, and inspire collaboration, presenting creative endeavors across the arts, sciences, and humanities. CCA cultivates a diverse, equitable, accessible, and inclusive environment, promoting creative expression and critical thought by reflecting the cultural diversity of our shared community.

Arts & Science Grants

Creative Flagstaff grants support our local creative sector and nonprofit organizations in arts, science, and culture programs that benefit the residents of and visitors to Flagstaff, Arizona. These awards connect creatives, encourage community growth, and foster professional development to reinforce Flagstaff as a creative city in the Southwest.

Funding for nonprofit organizations is available through the Art & Science Fund at Creative Flagstaff. The Art & Science Fund is made possible with funding from the City of Flagstaff BBB Revenues.

ARTx

Art + Ideas Experience

ARTx is an annual, accessible community opportunity to engage with the arts in an immersive and interactive way.

ARTx is soliciting individual artists, collaborations and/or organizations interested in exploring their creative ideas as part of this year’s events. The call for submissions invites site-specific proposals, partnering creatives with predetermined opportunities, venues, and events, along with an open proposal submission system.

Grants are available thanks to the City of Flagstaff’s Beautification and Public Arts Commission and private donors through the ARTx Fund.
